McMullen Booth Road Pedestrian Overpass
The Project
This overpass is a steel truss bridge that was set in place in one piece. It enables pedestrians to safely cross six lanes of traffic near the busy intersection of McMullen Booth Road and Drew Street in Clearwater.
It is an extension of the Ream Wilson Trail which connects Bayshore Drive to beautiful Kapok Park. Despite the fact that the bridge spans a six-lane divided arterial roadway, Caladesi Construction was able to complete this project with minimal interruption of traffic.
