Company lunch, 1981: who is still here

In the summer of 1981 the whole company gathered under a striped tent for lunch, a volleyball game and, judging by the photographs, an enormous amount of watermelon.

The prints turned up while we were gathering material for the new website. They are worn at the corners and the color has gone warm, but the mood comes straight through.

Faces you may recognize

Several people in these photographs are still connected to Caladesi today, as employees, as subcontractors, or as clients who have come back to us for a second and third building. A company that builds for the long term tends to keep its people for the long term too.
